Website Design, Management, & Hosting

Since 1998, Maher has been entrusted with supporting many of our clients’ most critical initiatives, and in particular we have excelled at providing superior design & innovation, hosting, maintenance, and support, for a variety of interactive online learning websites.

Maher & Maher is a one-stop shop for website design, hosting and management. We excel at front-end design as well as back-end site architecture. We are equally adept at developing online solutions using both open source platforms and .Net custom programming. We deliver a wide range of solutions to our clients, from content management, to eLearning, to virtual events, to automated workflows. The list goes on and on.

At Maher & Maher, we are not wedded to any particular technology or development platform. Our motto is to use the technology best suited for a specific situation or problem. What our clients get from us is an optimum solution for their needs within their budget.

As an example of our services, Maher & Maher, in partnership with ETA, has been the primary vendor managing all aspects of Workforce3 One, the federal government’s largest and most extensive interactive online learning platform.

In 2005, Maher & Maher launched Workforce3One, and subsequently held ETA’s first webinar. To meet ETA’s evolving business requirements, we have developed Workforce3One from a workforce development resource portal and basic webinar platform, to an interactive, resource-rich, blended-learning community that is focused on supporting the broad workforce development and education system.  Since 2005, Workforce3One has grown to house the largest, most diverse and best-catalogued resource repository in the field, and membership has grown to over 100,000 registrants.  We have provided ongoing consulting services to manage all of the processes related with the development, production and successful delivery of virtual meetings, webinars, podcasts, and pre-recordings, as they relate to the support of the workforce system.  In 2009, we introduced Voice-Over-IP (VoIP) technology to our Workforce3One webinar platform, which allows users to listen to live webinars over their computers and greatly reduces telephone costs for the government.  To date, our live event support continues to benefit the Government by providing an ongoing opportunity for peer-to-peer engagement and learning, and hosting up to 200 webinars per year – allowing ETA to reach tens of thousands of learner-interactions per year at a fraction of the cost of in-person events. 

In addition to our ongoing support and innovation with virtual events, Maher & Maher continuously researches and tests new features and virtual event platforms to ensure that we are providing the highest quality and most user-friendly platform available to our clients. For example, in 2008, Maher & Maher built and launched ETA’s very first online Community of Practice, and since Maher & Maher has become the best known developer, trainer, and content provider of Communities of Practice within the workforce community.  We continue to survey and incorporate industry trends to improve the functionality and usability of the over 25 CoPs now housed on the site.  Today’s sites now leverage an increasingly robust set of features, are easier and faster to deploy, and  allow ETA to manage site content with little or no support. 

Maher & Maher understands that as a site traverses its lifecycle, the demands made on it also evolve. To meet those changing demands, the site often needs to undergo a number of makeovers. Maher & Maher has a history of working with our clients to keep their sites fresh, up-to-date technologically, and lengthening their life expectancies far beyond their expectations.

As a result of our supporting our client with superior design & management of the Workforce3One interactive learning website, we were proud when their efforts for Workforce3One were recognized by a Secretary’s Exceptional Achievement Award in April 2007. Further, the Maher project team has received “excellent” evaluations in CPARS for our continuing support of Workforce3One.
