Brandon Carter oversees planning and implementing weekly trainings for internal governmental staff around successful strategies associated with WIOA implementation. His responsibilities include collaborating with subject matter experts to design engaging in-person, virtual, and self-paced learning experiences for staff at every learning level. With over five years of experience in the role of a training development consultant for multiple public and private organizations, he possesses a firm understanding of workforce development initiatives and learning development strategies.
Aside from developing trainings for government clients, he is also the technical manager for the Innovation and Opportunity Network (ION) Community of Practice. This CoP has been declared by multiple government agencies (Department of Labor, Education, Health and Human Services) as the knowledge portal to everything associated with WIOA Implementation. Brandon has a Master's degree in Organizational Development from George Mason University and a B.A in English from Florida A&M University. He currently resides in Richmond, VA.
