Maher Awarded GSA HCaTS Contract Schedule

Neptune, NJ – Maher & Maher, the New Jersey and Washington, D.C.-based specialized training and talent development consulting firm, today announced the launch of their promotion of a new award of the General Services Administration’s (GSA) Human Capital and Training Services (HCaTS) contract schedule.

A partnership between GSA and the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) was formed to address the need of providing the Federal government with human resource training and development, and human capital management services more efficiently and effectively using industry best practices.

According to GSA, HCaTS will provide tailored training and development, human capital strategy, and organizational performance improvement services to all federal agencies. The solution represents an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (MA-IDIQ) task order contract vehicle with a $11.5 billion ceiling. Maher is one of only 37 small business contracts awarded. 

workforceGSA will be responsible for contract administration, while OPM will be responsible for HCaTS program management. The period of performance for the contracts include an ordering period of 10.5 years (5-year base, one 5-year option period, and one 6-month option period), plus an additional 5-year period to allow for task order completion.

HCaTS will allow contract officers across the federal government to access expert help in training design and development, human capital consulting, and related services more easily. Standard labor categories and rates have already been negotiated, so agencies can get to the support they need much faster and more efficiently than ever before.
