Maher & Maher Announces API Leadership Committee

This summer, Maher & Maher, in partnership with the U.S. Department of Labor, launched the Apprenticeship Powered by Industry (API) initiative. Maher & Maher is now excited to announce that we have assembled a cross-sector leadership committee for this important initiative. The API Leadership Committee will help to guide and inform Maher & Maher’s important role in expanding apprenticeship in innovative industries across the country.

The API initiative is a nationwide effort to scale the proven model of apprenticeship, both through Registered Apprenticeship programs and Industry-Recognized Apprenticeship Programs. The initiative will be concentrated in several industries that have a growing supply of high-paying jobs, are driving the American economy, and are shaping the future of work.

Maher & Maher is ideally positioned to lead the API initiative as a world-class workforce development organization that helps to bridge policy interventions with the needs of the private sector.

As API’s success depends on private sector buy-in and adoption, the API Leadership Committee is composed of a diverse balance of industry professionals who are thought leaders in their areas of expertise. This collection of leaders, listed below, represents decades of experience, large networks of colleagues and collaborators, and a collective and genuine passion for achieving growth in apprenticeship.
