Last week the firm brought together key, senior staff members from all three of Maher & Maher’s professional practice areas at the Jersey Shore for some awesome views that complimented some serious discussions. We worked to identify growth opportunities as well as to address areas we want to improve as a Firm in 2016 and beyond.
“Although we were tucked away in a conference room for 12 or 13 hours, we took the time to enjoy the amazing scenes outside our window and to reflect on the work we have ahead as we strive to make our Firm the best it can be for customers and for ourselves,” said Rick Maher, the Firm’s President and CEO.
Key leaders from the Firm’s private sector practice were joined by those from both our federal and state-level workforce solutions practices to consider our areas of opportunity over the next 3 to 5 years. Leaders were asked to consider a time that made them proudest to be a part of the Maher & Maher Team and reflect on why – reflecting on what our customers have said about us when we are at our best. “These are the characteristics we need to strive for everyday, on every project and for every customer,” said Maher, “and this Team is great at doing that. I am so proud of this Team, but we can always get better – including me – and that’s what the last 2 days has been about. 2016 will mark the Firm’s 29th year in business and will present new challenges and opportunities for us all. We’ll be prepared for the challenge and we’ll do it together!”
