Creative Services Lead

Position Summary

Serve as the lead to an internal creative services group that supports high-impact projects designed to engage our clients and deliver clear and purposeful messaging in an innovative way. Facilitate collaboration with our creative talent both internal and subcontractors.  Be the driving force behind creative innovation spanning across multiple mediums and content types ensuring solutions meet the intended objectives. Actively develop processes to support operational efficiency while delivering engaging solutions for our clients and employees. Reach out with confidence to Maher project stakeholders coordinating creative workflows across related teams.  We are looking for an individual for our East Coast NJ/DC Offices and will consider remote for a qualified candidate. 


Essential Job Functions:

  • Assess workloads and create work plan to ensure proper prioritization and follow-through to meet all client deadlines within the Maher Project and Talent Management systems.
  • Deliver scalable creative solutions to challenging client and internal organizational opportunities
  • Keen ability to take concept to creation in unique ways that differentiate our work from that of our competitors
  • Serves as the central point of contact for creative services, coordinating needs across practices and operations
  • Leads creative services including graphics, web development, and media design in planning and managing all phases of client work with a focus on visual communications to include, but not limited to, graphics, media—animation, video, and audio production, digital and print collateral
  • Ensures consistency in brand presence and standards for clients, as well as Maher
  • Stays abreast of the ever-evolving creative trends and technologies and improve our creative processes
  • Creates a culture of learning with creative services, mentoring and motivating members by providing feedback and coaching to encourage growth
  • Working with Project Leads ensure all required resources and information has been provided to scope and complete projects including creative service tasks and timing
  • Ensure schedules are adhered to and production needs are met
  • Capture meeting takeaways, timelines, expectations, and integrates them into creative services workflows and communicates progress to project stakeholders
  • Support with other duties and projects based on situational requirements and business needs

Minimum Position Qualifications/Education

  • 4 to 6 years’ experience as a creative coordinator, project manager, or related position
  • 2 to 4 years’ experience in Talent Development / Training, eCommunication / Marketing, Technical Assistance, Web Development, or similar field
  • Creative thinker with a demonstrated ability to problem-solve and create solutions
  • Detail-oriented with a proven ability to manage creative projects as part of a diverse portfolio of initiatives
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to create effective partnerships with creative team contributors, business leads, project managers, marketing, and vendors
  • Ability to work with precision under rigorous deadlines, and within extended daily schedules when necessary
  • Impeccable organizational skills, passionate about creating structure, meticulous in managing project scope and timelines responsive to the needs of individual team members, and ability to thrive inviting and involving contributors across teams and departments
  • Proven knowledge of project management systems / tools
  • Ability to screen artwork and ensure it matches established brand creative and voice guidelines
  • Knowledge of talent development, training, workforce development, and corporate communications a plus
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite / Cloud, Articulate 360, Microsoft Office 365 is desired

Desired Previous Job Experience/Education:

  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to work productively with cross-functional teams
  • Design and development of visually engaging and interactive online learning assets, product portfolios, infographics, newsletters, ezine / books / graphic novels, explainer videos, and the like
  • Bachelor’s or Associates degree in interactive media, graphic arts or advertising with a focus on digital, or related field

Required Travel:

As client needs require; anticipated as less than 20%
