Anne Tillema is an Events Planner and Project Manager for Maher & Maher and plays a leading role in planning and organizing events with federal agencies, as well as project management for a variety of federal projects.
Since starting with Maher & Maher in 2014, Anne has played a pivotal role in organizing and running over 30 in-person and virtual events for various agencies within the U.S. Department of Labor and across multiple projects. As part of this work, Anne provided two years of guidance and support for the Advisory Committee on Increasing Competitive Integrated Employment for Individuals with Disabilities (ACICIEID) and managed all their in-person and virtual Advisory Committee meetings, ensuring that all meetings were completely accessible to the committee members and members of the public, all materials were 508 compliant, and seamless meeting logistics insured success of the meetings. Anne has also served as project manager for multiple Office of Apprenticeship projects.
Before working with Maher & Maher, Anne had over 15 years of experience running organizations and guiding them through periods of transition and growth. She helped organizations develop and implement operational policies and procedures, oversaw program development and implementation and managed and ran a multitude of events, large and small.
Anne has a BA from Grinnell College in Grinnell, IA. Anne now resides and works in Washington, DC.
