Carrie Yeats directs our State and Regional Workforce Solutions Practice, managing the day-to-day operations of the practice, as well as providing strategic direction to its work with states, regions, local workforce boards and other organizations, such as community colleges. Carrie has extensive experience leading large planning initiatives for local, state, and regional workforce and economic development collaboratives and has managed our statewide sector strategy and regional planning projects in South Carolina, Arkansas, Florida, Missouri and Illinois. She has served as a Project Manager and/or lead SME on more than twenty projects across the country. Her consulting experience includes projects in statewide and regional planning and sector strategy development, workforce asset mapping, and organizational benchmarking and competitive assessments.
Immediately before coming to Maher & Maher, Carrie served as a consultant with Luminance, Inc., a performance improvement company focused on manufacturing. Carrie also held practitioner and management roles in several economic development organizations and was Vice President of Economic Development at Angelou Economics, an economic development consultancy.
Carrie holds a BA from Baylor University and an MS from the University of Texas at Austin. She has completed advanced professional development courses in economic development at University of Oklahoma, Georgia Institute of Technology, and Auburn University, and resides in Texas.
