Ingrid Schonfield is part of Maher’s Federal Workforce Solutions practice and is responsible for leading, developing, and contributing to technical assistance (TA) efforts to support the success of U.S. Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration (ETA) grantees and projects. Ingrid also acts as a subject matter expert in several workforce development areas including performance management, one-stop career center service delivery, and grants management and oversight. Ingrid has more than 15 years of experience in public workforce development at local, regional, and national levels in direct service, grant, and project management roles and is known as a passionate workforce development professional.
For more than a decade before joining Maher & Maher, Ingrid was consistently recognized as a key contributor in ETA’s San Francisco Regional Office. In her Federal Project Officer role in Region 6, Ingrid worked strategically with workforce leaders to implement, improve, and oversee complex discretionary and formula grant-funded programs. In her Regional Performance and Reporting Specialist role, she supported the Western Pacific states and territories to transition to WIOA performance and reporting requirements through targeted technical assistance and training. Prior to her work for ETA, Ingrid worked in the Oakland, CA local workforce development area as a Special Projects Manager and Senior Career Counselor.
Ingrid has a Masters in Career Development from John F. Kennedy University and Bachelors degrees from the University of California at Davis.
Ingrid’s office and residence are in the San Francisco Bay Area.
