Jen Chingwe came to Maher & Maher from Rutgers University where she was an instructional designer and doctoral candidate in the Design of Learning Environments. She was awarded her Ed.D in 2018. Her dissertation research involved best practices in facilitating e-learning interaction and problem-solving in communities of practice. She has over 18 years of experience in leading professional development initiatives, change management, e/mlearning program development, online instruction, and platform training.
Jen has extensive experience in the instructional design, development, and evaluation of online, hybrid, and classroom-based programs. She has also worked in industries aligned with Maher & Maher’s client base, including the telecommunications industry as a Corporate Training Manager at Tyco SubCom, Adult Basic Education initiatives funded by the U.S. Department of Labor’s Workforce Investment Act, and K-12 education as an online teacher and administrator at the New Jersey Virtual School. In addition to her Ed.D. in the Design of Learning Environments, she has a M.Ed. in Adult and Continuing Education and a B.S. in Environmental Science from Rutgers University, and is also a certified N.J. Science Teacher.
