Jen Chingwe comes to Maher & Maher from Rutgers University where she was an instructional designer and doctoral candidate in the Design of Learning Environments. Her current dissertation research involves best practices in facilitating e-learning interaction and problem-solving in communities of practice. She has over 12 years of experience in leading professional development initiatives, change management, e-learning program development, online instruction, and platform training.
Jen has extensive experience in the instructional design, development, and evaluation of online, hybrid, and classroom-based programs. She has also worked in industries aligned with Maher & Maher’s client base, including the telecommunications industry as a Corporate Training Manager at Tyco SubCom, Adult Basic Education initiatives funded by the U.S. Department of Labor’s Workforce Investment Act, and K-12 education as an online teacher and administrator at the New Jersey Virtual School. She has an Ed.D. in the Design of Learning Environments, a M.Ed. in Adult and Continuing Education and a B.S. in Environmental Science from Rutgers University, and is also a certified N.J. Teacher of Science.
