Jennifer Jirous-Rapp joined the Maher & Maher team in November of 2018 a Senior Analyst. She is supporting initiatives related to apprenticeships and inclusivity in the Workforce and Talent Development area of Practice.
Prior to joining Maher & Maher, Jennifer worked in state-level administration with various state agencies in Colorado. As the Apprenticeship/Experiential Learning Coordinator at the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment, she was responsible for the implementation of the ApprenticeshipUSA State Expansion grant. She also has experience as a state Director in Adult Basic Education and Career and Technical Education. Through various roles she has successfully implemented collaborative projects and gained valuable experience in federal and state grant management, as well as demonstrated excellent communication, facilitation, conflict resolution, and training skills.
Having earned a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership, Research, and Policy with a research emphasis on Diversity in STEM education, she is committed to understanding and fostering success in others through positive educational and workplace experiences. In addition, her Master’s degree in Business Administration has provided her with the knowledge to effectively manage resources with an eye on innovation and inclusivity; and her Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems has provided her with skills to effectively utilize data and technology.
Jennifer’s office and residency are in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
