Joshua Blum is a Program Assistant & Analyst at Maher & Maher. He works to expand apprenticeship and improve workforce programs through contracts with federal and state agencies. Joshua’s expertise includes market & landscape research and institutional knowledge of workforce programs and nonprofit sectors.
At Maher & Maher, Joshua conducts research that is used to expand opportunity and diversity through apprenticeship programs in accordance with the Office of Apprenticeship (OA). Joshua also helps provide technical assistance to workforce development programs facilitated by the Office of Policy Development and Research (OPDR).
Outside of work, Joshua loves playing chess and currently volunteers as the Executive Director of a youth-homelessness nonprofit chapter. Prior to Maher & Maher, Joshua worked as a Strategic Research Analyst that provided best-practices reports to 501(c)(3) organizations.
