Joshua Blum is a Program Assistant & Analyst at Maher & Maher. He works to expand apprenticeship programs under contracts with federal and state agencies. Joshua’s expertise includes market and landscape research and institutional knowledge on the workforce-developement and nonprofit sectors.
At Maher & Maher, Joshua Blum supports the Apprenticeship Powered by Industry (API) initiative, which aims to expand Registered and Industry-Recognized Apprenticeship Programs in accordance with the Office of Apprenticeship (OA) and Department of Labor (DoL). Joshua also helps provide technical assistance (TA) to workforce development programs facilitated by the Office of Policy Development and Research (OPDR).
Prior to Maher & Maher, Joshua was as Strategic Research Analyst that provided marketplace and best-practice reports to 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations. Joshua currently volunteers as the Executive Director of a youth homelessness nonprofit chapter.
