Kylie Poirier is the Assistant Project Manager for a variety of federal workforce initiatives at the Department of Labor. Kylie is responsible for managing project tasks and assisting the Project Manager. Kylie’s expertise lies in project management, tracking deliverables, and ensuring performance standards are met.
Since joining Maher & Maher in 2018, Kylie has held the assistant project manager position for our projects in the U.S. Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration’s (ETA): Office of Regional Management (ORM) – Technical Assistance; Office of Apprenticeship (OA) – State Apprenticeship Expansion Grant Project, and Industry Sectors Engagement.
Before joining Maher & Maher, Kylie worked in education, focusing on a variety of initiatives including social studies education, college access and completion, and international education. She has worked with students of nearly all ages and from over 50 different countries. Kylie was a Community and Life Skills Liaison for the US Peace Corps in Botswana, from 2014-2016. During her service, Kylie worked with the Botswana Ministry of Education and Ministry of Health on multiple HIV/AIDS prevention strategies and assisted with designing and implementing school and community programming.
Kylie holds a B.A. in Anthropology Education from University of Delaware.
Kylie currently works and resides in Washington, D.C.
