Richard oversees the firm’s technology initiatives for its Commercial, Federal, and State & Regional practices.
Over his career in information technology, Richard has built a strong reputation helping clients gain competitive advantages by leveraging information technology to achieve greater flexibility for their business processes, support their strategies, control costs, and enhance their decision making. Prior to joining Maher, he was Principal of the SBS Group, which specialized in the design and deployment of custom software applications. Prior to SBS, he was brought in by the owners of a medium-sized furniture importer to resuscitate their rapidly failing concern. The turnaround effort was a success, doubling its revenue, as well as its profitability in three years.
Richard has held key positions with Merrill Lynch, McKinsey & Co., and Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. He holds an MBA in Finance from Columbia Graduate School of Business, and a Master of Arts in Statistics from Columbia Graduate School of Arts & Sciences.
