Scott Wheeler has over 11 years’ experience analyzing workforce and education data to continuously improve program efficiency and effectiveness. He has managed federal/state reporting for programs funded at more than $100 million and has been managing staff for over ten years, including managing labor market economists, statisticians and data analyst teams. This experience includes providing executive level data and policy analysis for agency leadership to engage with federal and state legislators, the governor, and negotiations with other agencies and organizations. He is proficient using statistical (SPSS/SAS) software, database (SQL/Access) tools and visualization tools (Excel/Tableau) to create user-friendly data in order to improve management and oversight, and has presented his data and policy analysis to the Governor, market analysis at legislative committee hearings, and performance presentations at national conferences.
Scott partners with Maher & Maher to provide analytical and subject matter expertise for ETA’s Office of Policy Development and Research (OPDR), as well as performance management training for the state and local workforce system. He holds an MPA degree from The Evergreen State College and a BA from the University of Texas.
