Shericka Parks is an Analyst & Assistant Project Manager at Maher & Maher. Shericka works with the U.S. Department of Labor and Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA). Shericka is responsible for management of national working groups and library files, organizing and preserving historical documents, coordinating state representatives that make up a national technical assistance advisory group, and contributing to technical assistance products. Shericka brings a diverse work experience to Maher & Maher, including areas in education, program development, project management, and government policies.
Before joining Maher & Maher, Shericka worked for a nonprofit organization that focused on health policies. Shericka supported a team focusing on federal advocacy lobbying and regulatory relations, which included program development for Healthcare Reform, the Affordable Care Act, and Medicare & Medicaid; Shericka also, assisted with legislative analysis tracking and evaluating legislative initiatives. Prior to that she worked in program development assisting in creating an online training and technical assistance course to help behavioral health clinicians. Shericka tasks included data analysis of clinicians, logistics, and managing communication with the Board of Directors.
Shericka has a Master of Business Administration from Beulah Heights University and a B.S. in Health Education from Virginia State University.
